New Balance and Billebeino to continue their successful collaboration
The American brand New Balance and the Finnish brand Billebeino are uniting their forces again. The second collaboration of the companies is a clothing and sneaker collection, launching on Thursday 14th of May.
Almost exactly a year ago the first New Balance x Billebeino collection was released. It consisted of shirts, pants, caps, a jacket and the NB x BB 247 sneaker. The new collection brings on t-shirts for both women and men, two different caps and a women’s sneaker NB x BB 997, with a unique color palette for Finland.
”Our first collaboration was a success, for example the sneakers were sold out in less that 24 hours, so it is natural for us to reunite”, tells Billebeino’s Brand Manager Juhani Putkonen.
New Balance is likewise pleased to continue the co-operation that originates to a Finnish sauna. Putkonen and New Balance’s Strategic Account Manager Julius Juslin first came up with the idea of collaboration while sitting in a sauna after playing badminton together.
”It is great to work with Billebeino again. We are very happy with what we have created together, especially since the color palette goes together with the textile collection so well.
The customers will be able to enjoy the results of this collaboration starting from today, 14th of May. All items are sold exclusively on Billebeino’s online store, until sold out.
