What are Skin-on Cashews?

They are exactly what they sound like, cashews with skin. While we are used to eating naked, completely peeled, cashews, these cashew nuts have been carefully processed using a delicate method that leaves the thin layer of skin covering the nut intact.

The This is Nuts Skin-on Cashews are now available in three classical exhilarating flavors: Tropical Cacao, Roasted + Sea Salt, and Garlic + Pepper. While the dry roasted layer of skin gives them a perfect crunch, they bite into a creamy and buttery nut of the highest quality.

A tropical origin…

In a distant tropical village hidden at the foothills of Mount Agung, Bali’s largest volcano, lies a small cashew farm where local families come together to harvest these unique cashew nuts. The volcanic soil feeds the cashew trees with essential minerals that give the nuts a distinct flavor and nutrients.

These cashew nuts are then hand picked, sun dried under the warm oceanic wind and delicately peeled individually to preserve the nut’s skin, before being dry roasted and flavored.

What about nutrition?

It is no secret the cashew nut is one of the healthiest nuts there is. This small, curbed bundle of carbs is packed with nutrients like vitamins E, K, and B-6, minerals like copper, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium, and a lot of “good” fat.
