Ever since we started, This is Nuts has been on the hunt for the perfect snacks, foods that were both delicious and healthy at the same time. Today, we introduce our most innovative products to date - Badass Bars: Charlie the Protein Bar & Kenny the Energy Bar.

When we first considered creating bars, we started off from the same fundamental question we asked ourselves before creating all of our products: what are similar products available today missing? While there are many bars out there to choose from, we found that no one bar was truly perfect, they all had one or more of the following issues: high sugar content, artificial flavors, lots of additives, weren’t friendly to special diets, and/or they simply tasted bad.

Therefrom we created Badass Bars (Charlie the Protein Bar & Kenny the Energy Bar), two revolutionary fitness and snack bars that are unlike anything you’ve heard of before. They are both 100% natural, organic, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, and made without any added sugar.

This means that Badass Bars are high in protein and deliver a good energy boost, along with essential nutrients and vitamins, while tasting delicious, all naturally.

This is Charlie the Protein Bar

Charlie is no longer a choice, but has become a necessity for many everyday athletes. With more than 20% of its total weight being protein, it’s the miracle fitness enthusiasts who try to keep a natural diet have been searching for.

Made from chocolate-covered peanuts (as well as tiger nuts), Charlie reminisces of a classic flavor we are all familiar with and love.

This is Kenny The energy bar

Kenny is pure innovation. It looks like a candy bar, it tastes like a candy bar, but it’s everything a candy bar isn’t. It’s a bar-shaped superfood that is packed with nutrients from natural ingredients.

Made from chocolate-covered, sweet coconut, along with hints of rose hip, Kenny is the tastiest way to get energy and nutrients on the go.

Environmentally conscious

Badass Bars are not only good for your body and soul, but also for the environment. Instead of using traditional plastic-based wrappers, we have wrapped these two sensations with a biodegradable PLA film. This means that if someone decides that they don’t care much about the environment and throws the wrapper on the side of the road or in the park, it would naturally recycle itself back into nature and become nutrients for plants and soil organisms.

Only the beginning…

Charlie the Protein Bar & Kenny the Energy Bar are just the first two members of our Badass Bars series, and they have been met with great popularity. Within a few months of launching, we have already sold out two batches, with the third almost selling out on preorder.

The success and popularity that Charlie and Kenny have found has motivated us to create even more variants of the Badass Bars. We will not reveal much about our next bar, except that it’s named Billie and is already in the making.
