HONKARAKENNE AND BLUET COMBINE THEIR EXPERTISE IN FLOATING DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

Log home manufacturer Honkarakenne Ltd. and Bluet Ltd., a specialist in floating infrastructure and waterfront developments, have entered into a collaboration aimed at providing clients with a broader network of expertise and trusted partners for floating projects in Finland and internationally.

The collaboration combines Honkarakenne’s internationally recognized know-how in timber construction and Bluet’s extensive experience in floating infrastructure, floating structures, floating pool and waterfront development projects.

Together, the companies can offer clients an integrated project team where both parties focus on their core expertise. Clients gain access to both floating infrastructure expertise and high-quality timber construction solutions without the need to assemble multiple specialist suppliers independently.

The collaboration may support projects such as floating residential environments, leisure developments, sauna and wellness facilities, marina and clubhouse concepts, restaurants, and other projects located on or alongside water.

FIRST JOINT REFERENCE PROJECT IN HELSINKI

The first visible outcome of the collaboration will be the Floating Showroom in Verkkosaari, Helsinki.

The showroom will serve as a demonstration, development, and reference platform for future projects. It will showcase how floating infrastructure, high-quality timber construction, and a carefully selected partner ecosystem can be combined into a successful waterfront development.

The showroom is part of a broader development program that also includes a Marina & Sauna Club concept and a future floating residential district.

Verkkosaari will serve as an important reference for future domestic and international projects as well as a platform for developing new concepts and partnerships.

The long-term objective is to establish a collaboration model where both parties focus on their respective core competencies while delivering greater value together than either could achieve independently.
