The business event shed its festival-skin and turned into a webstival – the event is organized at the end of October as a virtual 3D event, led by a new CEO.
The virtual realization of SHIFT is one-of-a-kind in Finland and internationally pioneering. Virbela, the Californian producer of the event platform, has emphasized social interaction and the users’ shared experiences when designing the game-like environment. These two features were high on the list of priorities when choosing the venue. Thus, Virbela matches SHIFT’s requirements extremely well.
In addition to networking possibilities, SHIFT offers it’s visitors a high quality stage program. This year it focuses on the building blocks of intelligent business, such as economic growth and sustainability, strategic foresight, and economic resilience, as well as innovation, and protecting human capital.
Media representatives taking part in the event get to, within the limits allowed by current safety regulations, observe the behind the scenes of the event production and experience the virtual business event from the point of view of a visitor. In addition, reporters have the chance to interview the speakers of the festival. Please inform us who you’d like to interview, when filling in the accreditation form.
