Global medical technology leader Matti E. Lehtonen appointed CEO of Nukute

The Board of Directors of Nukute Oy is very pleased to announce that we have appointed Matti E. Lehtonen CEO of Nukute Oy as of February 1st, 2022.

Matti brings to Nukute a wealth of experience in medical technology and building and managing businesses and organisations with global reach. Matti joins us after 14 years with GE Healthcare where he served as the General Manager of GE's global Anesthesia and Respiratory Care business, and from 2016 also as the Chairman of the Board of GE Healthcare Finland. Prior to GE, Matti worked in a variety of leadership positions in healthcare, wellness, electronics manufacturing and renewable energy, covering the whole value chain from technology and product development to manufacturing to sales and marketing.
 
A native of Finland, Matti has spent over 30 years of his career in China and speaks eight languages, including Chinese, French, and Portuguese. Matti holds a MSc degree in Computer Science and Manufacturing Management from Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University) and he studied at Peking University, Department of Chinese Language and Literature, majoring in modern Chinese grammar. In his free time, Matti is a passionate baroque musician and an avid juggler.
